Justice Across Borders: Building Global Democracy with Dr. Chuck Pennacchio | ECI Podcast

Dr. Chuck Pennacchio—founder of the Justice for All Network and longtime advocate for democratic systems change—joins Byron Belitsos to explore what it means to build justice across borders. A former U.S. Senate candidate, professor of history and politics, and member of the World Democracy Forum, Chuck brings decades of institutional experience to this urgent global conversation.

As national and international systems collapse under the weight of corruption, militarism, and inequality, Dr. Pennacchio offers a compelling vision: global cooperation through enforceable, democratic world law. Drawing from movements for healthcare justice, political reform, and international law, he makes the case for a World Parliament—not as utopia, but as strategic necessity.

Key Topics:

  • Why the UN system is obsolete

  • The fascist assault on human rights and democracy

  • Justice as a transnational organizing principle

  • The architecture of enforceable global law

  • Lessons from nonviolent movements and electoral organizing
